"Jungle Garden" is inspired by my old communal home, the Dunbar Jungle House, where the backyard was wild, overgrown, and beautiful in its chaos. I wanted to capture that untamed energy, with lush greens, our beautiful tomato plants and winding peas that grew in the garden. I used layers of paint, pastel, and ink to build up the texture on a pre molded canvas, painting over my painting 3 timed before completing this art piece.
